Summary
The San Francisco 49ers won against the Los Angeles Rams Monday night at home for the first time in a year; their last win at home, which was October 18 of last year, was also against the Rams. Odell Beckham Jr. made his debut Monday night, along with Von Miller. L.A.’s offense struggled to get opportunities on the field and were only able to put up 10 points total. The final score was 31-10.
Sean McVay said post-game that the last two weeks have been humbling, and they need to look inward to solve any issues they’re having. Despite their lack of performance across the board, he remains optimistic.
Mutual Respect
Deebo Samuel of the 49ers and OBJ of the Rams were seen embracing on the field post-game giving each other respect. Samuel performed very well in the Week 10 game against the Rams. Deebo Samuel had 5 receptions for 97 yards and 1 TD, then added 5 carries for 36 yards and 1 TD on the ground. This is the first time in his career he had 1 receiving and 1 rushing touchdown in the same game. I wonder if Odell Beckham Jr. is having second thoughts about his team choice.
