Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers displayed his opinions on what lies ahead for the four-time NFL MVP Tuesday on the Pat McAfee Show.

“I think I can win MVP again in the right situation.. is that Green Bay or somewhere else,” Rodgers said. “I’m not sure, and there are more conversations to be had.”

Rodgers seemed to open the door to the possibility of playing elsewhere if he were to commit to playing in 2023.

“There’s no point in coming back to play football unless you think you can win it all,” Rodgers said.

After the last regular season game, Rodgers implied that his decision would be made down the line as he could go into his 19th year in the NFL.

“I think you always have a feeling where you’re leaning, but there’s a lot of things that come into play,” Rodgers said.

Last week Aaron Rodgers met with the Packers front office to discuss his future but also the future of the organization.

“We had all the conversations we wanted to have about football for now, and we’ll take some time to contemplate the future,” Rodgers said about the meetings.

Even after a down 2022 season, Aaron Rodgers seemed hopeful for his future, whether it be retirement, back playing for Green Bay, or finding a new team.

The current Vegas odds favorites to land Rodgers in 2023, excluding Green Bay, are the San Francisco 49ers, Las Vegas Raiders, Tennessee Titans, and the New York Jets.
