On Sunday July 25 one of the best trade pieces Adam Frazier of the Pittsburgh Pirates was traded to the San Diego Padres.
As the trade deadline approaches, so much attention is on players like Kris Bryant and Max Scherzer. Since the Pirates do not receive a lot of national attention this was an under the radar star.
Frazier is the current leader in hits in all of baseball. with 125, one of only two players with 120 or more hits so far this season.
He can play both outfield and middle infield which will make him a key piece defensively for the final 60 games of the regular season and into the playoffs.
