The Arizona Coyotes have yet to win a game in 2023. They have lost their last nine games and rank seventh in the Central League and 29th in the league with 31 points on the season.

As they are looking to go threw a rebuild, 2023 hasn’t looked the best for the team. On the third of January, they lost to the Florida Panthers 3-5. Coyotes Clayton Keller had a goal and an assist in this game. However, Florida’s Matthew Tkachuk recorded his first hat trick in the Panther’s uniform.
The next game, they lost 2-6 against the Philadelphia Flyers. Although, the Coyotes were able to get on the board first the second period was a really good one for the Flyers as they score four goals.
During the 0-2 loss against the Chicago Blackhawks, goaltender Alex Stalock got his 10th career shutout by stopping 22 shots. The last goal scored by the Blackhawks was an empty net goal.
The Coyotes were able to get on the scoreboard first in the game against the Pittsburg Penguins but fell short 4-1 in the final. Jake Guentzel had two goals and Sidney Crosby had two assists in this game.
Following those the Coyotes lost to the Sharks 2-4, the Senators 3-5, the Wild 1-2, and tonight against the Jets 2-1.

This season the team has 31 points which consists of 13-25-5. Clayton Keller has 38 points, 15 goals, and 23 assists this season. This means he leads the Coyotes in points and assists. Lawson Crouse leads the team in goals with 16. Keller is behind him with just one less goal. Keller who was Arizona’s 2016 first-overall pick has been expected to do well. Uncertain of how this year would go as he had an injury late last season. However, he continues to prove that he is and will be a star in the NHL.
The Coyotes take on the Detroit Red Wings on Tuesday to try and end their losing streak.
