Brian Robinson Jr Shot in attempted robbery

Washington Commanders running back Brian Robinson Jr. is in stable condition after being shot during a possible attempted carjacking in Washington DC, according to a police spokesman. The exact injuries from the shooting is unknown at the time, but we have been told that its nonlife threatening.

Starting role

Robinson was a running back at the University of Alabama before being drafted by the Commanders in the third round this year. He has impressed in the preseason and is expected to be in a major role in the offense this year. He was i a competition with Antonio Gibson for the starting spot and was expected to be named the starter by the coaches. Nothing about how his injuries will effect his career hasn’t been disclosed as his exact injuries haven’t been revealed.

The suspects

Reports are surfacing that he was shot multiple times but nothings been said about how it will affect his season as of now. Police said they were looking for two juveniles with shoulder length dreadlocks. One was wearing a black or brown shirt with yellow smiley faces on it. No further details were revealed at this time.

Brian Robinson Return time

We hope Robinson has a speedy recovery and he makes a full return to the game he loves. The Commanders first game is against Jacksonville Jaguars and we will keep you up to date on when his return will be but I don’t think it will be for the first game. Hopefully he will be back soon without any lasting effects from this incident.
