Carlo Ancelotti and his coaching staff returned to Real Madrid City today. They finalized the pre-season goals and preparation plans they intend to implement. The Italian manager said, “We’re back to work, although it’s not like work, it’s a source of excitement”.

Tomorrow, the players will undergo their medical exams before tackling their first training session of the 2022/23 season at 5:30pm (CET).
When will the players return?
Tomorrow- Courtois, Lunin, Odriozola, Nacho, Vallejo, Mendy, Lucas Vázquez, Kroos, Camavinga, Ceballos, Mariano, Mayoral.
July 10- Militao, Casemiro, Vinicius, Rodrygo
July 14- Alaba, Carvajal, Rüdiger, Valverde, Modric, Hazard, Asensio, Tchouameni, Benzema, Jovic.
Some players got extensions to their vacation due to their commitments to their respective national teams.
Who will Los Blancos take on in their pre-season tour?
Real Madrid will play Barcelona, Club America and Juventus. These games will take place on the 23rd of July, 26th of July and the 30th of July respectively.

Pre-season is used to increase fitness levels, momentum and team chemistry. The team travels and stay in hotels together which helps build relationships and unite the team. Though it’s a fun time for the team, it must be taken seriously as the business has only just started. This upcoming season is a big one as the fans’ expectations are high. The signings Tchouameni and Rudiger have bolstered the squad quality and depth. Let’s enjoy the pre-season and mentally prepare for the upcoming season!
