Heading into the 2022 season will mark the 3rd season under the helm of Head coach Kevin Stefanski. The Cleveland Browns offense has made major changes and reworked position rooms for the betterment of the team. From remaking of the wide receiver room. To allowing the offensive line to become healthy this season. Therefore as a result of major offseason changes the Cleveland Browns offense should be completely different. At this point with massive talent on both sides of the ball its time for Cleveland to make this push for championships.

Run Game

Coming in the Cleveland Browns might have the best running back duo in the league. The opportunity presents itself that Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt could be on the field together more this season. With one of the best rushing attacks in the league.Another key point is adding a quarterback who can run. Deshaun Watson’s threat to run above all will bring added element that’s needed. All in All having Hunt, Chubb, and Watson in the filed together is much desired. Coupled with these three players being on the field at once it will overall enhance the team.

QB Room

Trading for Deshaun Watson this off-season elevated this team to a place they hoped to go. Therefore it allows the team to become more consistent. The team now has scheme freedom. Meaning If one quarterback is out concurrently another can fill in without changing too much. Head coach Kevin Stefanski now has high level quarterback play. Above all Watson is the type of player that can elevate his teammates on the field. By all means having a arguably elite quarterback on your team makes everything easier.

WR Room

Bringing in Amari Cooper to help on this team was a home run hit. A true number 1 receiver that has all the tools. Size, speed, route running ability and durability. Cooper will be what we expected Jarvis and OBJ to be consistently. Next up is the Donovan Peoples-Jones. Cleveland front’s office is believing in a coming out year for DPJ. As a solid number 2 with deep threat ability him and Cooper can work well together. The Browns are going with mostly young unproven talent in the room. With the help and play of Watson and Cooper this could elevate that room.

Offensive Line

The number one thing for the offensive line is to become fully healthy again. Jedrick Wills recovering from is ankle injury and Jack Conklin from his patella injury. This group can be the best in the league. According to pff they are the number one offensive line in the league this year. However there are some questions that still remain. Former 5th round pick Nick Harris is a question mark to takeover as starting center. Coupled with the injuries of Conklin and Willis can this line live up to expectations. As equally important can the entire line play as one and lead the charge for the offense. Finally one question still remains will J.C. Tretter be missed?

Draft

According to Kevin Stefanski the drafting of David Bell excited him. Bell was Stefanski’s favorite player and wide receiver coming out in the draft. He plays similar to that of Jarvis Laundry. Not to mention Bell has the better size and is younger then Laundry is. Other offensive draftee’s were speedster Micheal Woods from Oklahoma. In addition former University of Cincinnati running back Jerome Ford was drafted as well. Adding him to a already stacked running back room will bring a new layer and more bodies needed. For example in a run heavy scheme having as many good backs goes a long way.

Take Aways

Trading for Deshaun Watson and Amari Cooper signals the Cleveland Browns want to compete. For the same reasons this team is built with depth and talent. One of the questions for the offense is can it be sustainable this season. As a result of the team wanting to be sustainable. The team felt they were only top level quarterback play away from a suer bowl. In conclusion this team wants to be explosive to pair with a top 5 defense.
