The Clippers pull off a huge 120-116 win over the Brooklyn Nets. The Clippers with a 28-11 run to close out the game. Clippers found themselves down by 13 with five minutes left in the fourth quarter when they started the comeback. Reggie Jackson was a huge factor in the comeback. Terrance Mann hit a 23-foot three pointer with 23 seconds left on the clock to put the game at 117-113 pretty much icing the game. After Mann’s made three Nets started to foul and put people to the free throw line trying to crawl back in. Clippers played heavily short handed today without the normal Paul George and Kawhi Leonard. Luke Kennard was a late scratch from the game and Marcus Morris Sr. did not enter the game even though he is off Covid protocols.

First Half

First half action saw the Brooklyn Nets leading 53-49. The Clippers leading scorer’s in the first half was Reggie Jackson and Eric Bledsoe both with 10 points each. Reggie Jacksons aggressiveness is paying off big for the ClIppers with a much needed boost in energy. Reggie Jackson needs to keep up his aggressive tendencies as the he takes over the Point Guard roll. The Clippers defensive has held up nice against Kevin Durant and James Harden lead offense that Brooklyn leans on. Holding James Harden to 8 points and Durant to 16 points. Clippers did not double Kevin Durant at all in first half.

Looking Ahead

The Los Angles Clippers moving forward are going to be without Paul George for at least a 4 weeks with a torn ligament in his right elbow. Luke Kennard was a late scratch from tonights game as he enters the NBA covid protocols. Kawhi Leonard return is questionable now as he may return for a payoff run or might just be put on the shelf and not play this season. LA heads back home to face the Timberwolves on Monday night.
