Over the course of the off-season, there have been a ton of trade rumors going around. Most of these rumors have involved Damian Lillard. But enough is enough, Damian Lillard is not going anywhere.

Now, yes Damian Lillard has been very vocal about wanting the Blazers to be urgent when it comes to the roster and playing to win a championship. Whether the Blazers have made enough changes is yet to be seen, but there is a good chance they have without acquiring another superstar.

But while he was in Tokyo, Dame was in a Twitter battle with Henry Abbott and Lillard replied with this:

CJ McCollum also piped into the Twitter battle and Dame retweeted it:

Jusuf Nurkic also jumped in on the Henry Abbott conversation:

CJ McCollum also discussed to Adrian Wojnarowski that in his conversations with Dame, he has mentioned that he’s “ALL IN” and that he wants to win a championship in Portland.

There have been numerous rumors that the Blazers will trade him to the Boston Celtics or to the Philadelphia 76ers before Christmas, and that is simply not true. The Celtics would not be able to make a good enough package for Lillard unless they give up Jaylen Brown or Jayson Tatum, and I don’t think the Celtics would be willing to do that. As far as the 76ers go, Ben Simmons is not worth Damian Lillard. So that end that conversation.

So as far as Lillard goes. He will be donning the Red, White and Black with Portland or Blazers across the front of the jerseys for this year and future years as well. He will be among the top candidates for the 2021-22 NBA MVP. Will he take a step forward and progress on the defensive side of the ball? We will see, but Chauncey Billups will need him to.

Until Dame says he has had enough and wants out of Portland, the rumors need to stop.
