Donte DiVincenzo Signs Four-Year, $50 Million Deal With Knicks

The Villanova connections are real! At least they will be during the 2023-24 NBA season as Donte DiVincenzo teams up former NOVA buddies Josh Hart and Jalen Brunson on the Knicks. The former Warriors guard signed a four-year, $50 Million deal with New York.

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski was the first to report the news on Saturday.

The 26-year-old turned down a $4.7 million player option with the Warriors earlier this offseason. Which was the final year of the two-year deal that he signed with Golden State last offseason.

DiVincenzo averaged 9.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.3 steals per game last season, playing in 72 games (36 starts). The Knicks are coming off their first playoff series win in a decade, so they’re hoping that Donte DiVincenzo can help propel them further. Having three guys that played together in college is not something that typically happens in the NBA. Let alone having three players who went to the same college.
