Kansas also had a nice contribution from big man David Mccormack who put down 13 points on a minutes restriction coming off injury. The Jayhawks also got a contribution from guard Chris Braun who had a poor shooting night but made up for it from the free throw line with 15 points.

Tech had a chance to close out the game at the end of the first overtime but Agbaji would not be denied. The senior guard hit a clutch three pointer to tie the game with 3 seconds left forcing an extra period of play.

In the second overtime after a scoreless drought with less than a minute Christian Braun hit two clutch free throws to make it 94-91 Jayhawks with 10 seconds left. Tech had a chance to tie it courtesy of Terrance Shannon with a fade away 3 point attempt but it was off the mark and Kansas was able to close it out.
