2024 NBA Draft

For the first time in NBA history, we will see a new format when it comes to the NBA Draft. For many years the NBA has done both the first and second rounds in one night. Making it a long night for players and media. That will no longer be the case. Night one of the 2024 NBA Draft is scheduled for Wednesday, June 26 and Night Two is on Thursday, June 27.

On Wednesday, ESPN will begin their coverage with NBA Today starting at 3 p.m. ET. The show will be hosted by Christine Williamson, Kendrick Perkins, Austin Rivers and CJ McCollum. That will be followed by a Red Carpet Special at 5 p.m. ET with Cassidy Hubbarth, Kendrick Perkins and Richard Jefferson. The actual draft coverage will begin at 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN and at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.

The ESPN team will feature Malika Andrews, Andraya Carter, Jay Bilas and Richard Jefferson. Whereas, ABC will have Kevin Negandhi hosting alongside Stephen A. Smith and Bob Myers. ESPN is set to have reporters and insiders Monica McNutt, Adrian Wojnarowski, Bobby Marks and Jonathan Givony set to appear on both.

On night two, Tim Legler will replace McCollum on NBA Today, which will air at 3 PM ET. Then the draft coverage will begin at 4 PM ET with Malika Andrews, Stephen A. Smith, Bob Myers, Adrian Wojnarowski, Bobby Marks and Jonathan Givony.

If you haven’t already, make sure you check out our NBA Draft Profiles. There is no indication on if we will have a draft show this year or not, but we certainly will have some articles following the 2024 two-day NBA Draft event.
