It is the best time of the year. Fantasy Football draft season is here. It can be stressful, especially when you are on the clock and you don’t know whom to take. You see so many names in the Yahoo Fantasy Football draft room and so little time to decide. Well, fear not. Below is a list of 5 players you can queue up before your draft starts and feel confident they will produce for your team. These 5 players will take the NFL by storm in 2021.
D’Andre Swift
This running back for the Detroit Lions posted a very respectable 874 all-purpose yards as a rookie last season, with 4.6 yards per attempt, and had 46 receptions. He finished the year with eight top 20 performances (PPR) at the running back position. He was also effective in the Red Zone scoring 8 rushing touchdowns. Running behind a Top 10 offensive line according to PFF, expect Swift to take a huge step forward. He is currently a steal, being drafted in the 3rd round.
Tee Higgins
This Clemson Football product had a very solid rookie season and if Joe Burrow stayed healthy it could have been even greater. With Burrow as his quarterback, he was on pace for over 1100 receiving yards and 7 touchdowns. Despite increased target competition, we expect the Bengals to be throwing a ton. Plenty of those targets will go Higgins’s way. Target this wide receiver in the mid-rounds of your fantasy drafts.
Brandon Aiyuk
Aiyuk finished last season with 825 yards from scrimmage and 7 touchdowns. Last year with Jimmy G, Aiyuk was on pace for 1048 receiving yards. The 49ers have an easy strength of schedule this year. So, whether it’s Jimmy G or Trey Lance, Aiyuk will have the chance to be productive. Where you are getting him in drafts, he is a solid WR2 with WR1 upside.

Chase Edmonds
Edmonds is the top running back on the Arizona Cardinals’ depth chart. With an ADP around the 6th round, the risk is worth the reward. Last year he was an effective runner and pass catcher. He will have the opportunity to run behind an improved offensive line and if Kyler Murray takes a step back rushing, Edmonds can see even more touches than expected.
CeeDee Lamb
The Hard Knocks hype for Lamb is in full effect and as a result, his ADP has skyrocketed for this Dallas Cowboys wide receiver. He is being drafted in the third round and that is still great value. Lamb has Top 5 upside for the wide receiver position. He managed to post 935 receiving yards with the Cowboys quarterback situation last year. With Dak back and Lamb looking dominant in camp, expect great things, including a massive second-year breakout.
