Arriving on the scene in 2014, Kevin Owens has been one of the WWE’s workhorses over the years. The official debut on the main roster came just a year later. His contract might expire in two years, but the ‘Prize Fighter’ does not see why he wouldn’t renew that contract with World Wrestling Entertainment.

From the battle of the ‘Stunner’, with Stone Cold Steve Austin, to his recent storyline with the Bloodline, 2022 has been a positive one for Owens. He has had some major pushes and is a former Universal Champion.

“When I look back on my career in WWE, I’m honestly in awe of the things I’ve gotten to do,” Owens stated. “The stuff I’ve experienced, the people I’ve gotten to work with. So now, I have two more years left on my current contract, and I don’t see a reason I wouldn’t sign another one when it’s done because I don’t feel like I’m anywhere near done. But who knows what could happen, right? At this stage in my career, I really want to have fun and make sure I’m still putting up memorable stuff for people.”

Owens has always been involved in Marquee matchups including some with his real-life best friend Sami Zayn. The two have betrayed each other and reunited several times throughout their careers in the WWE. The most recent time came at War Games when Zayn low-blowed Owens. He then hit him with his signature ‘Helluva Kick’ in order to give ‘The Bloodline the win.

What Kevin Owens said on the 28th, didn’t last long. He’ll be teaming up with John Cena to take on Zayn and Roman Reigns on the last SmackDown of 2022.

“I look back at the career I’ve had, and if it all ended tomorrow, it would be have any kind of regret because I’ve really done some incredible stuff and I’ve been very lucky to do what I’ve done,” Owens added. “Every other show, every other thing I get to experience is a bonus because I’m not really sure how I can have a better career than I’ve had already. That’s not me patting myself on the back. I’m just saying I’ve been very fortunate.”

Obviously, a lot could happen between the two parties in a two-year span. Though as of now, Owens seems likely to renew his contract with the WWE in two years.
