Liga MX Game of the Week
The game of the week is a matchup of two teams in the top four of the table which is the battle between Tigres and Leon. Tigres has started to perform better under Miguel ‘Piojo’ Herrera while Leon hasn’t missed a beat under new manager Ariel Holan after the departure of Ignacio ‘Nacho’ Ambriz. Tigres could be getting some players back from injury, most notably among them being Andre-Pierre Gignac.
Other Notable Games
Atlas and Monterrey are both in the top eight in the league. Monterrey will probably be without Rogelio Funes Mori, Carlos Rodriguez and Cesar Montes. All of them started in Wednesday’s match for Mexico. Pumas and Chivas aren’t off to great starts, but they are two of the four “grandes”.
We’ll be back on Tuesday with a recap of the weekends matchups! Enjoy this weekend’s games!
