With the end of the regular season, the NFL released its schedule for next week’s Super Wild Card Weekend. The six matchups will be played across three days, starting Saturday afternoon in Houston and wrapping up Monday night in Tampa.

NFL Super Wild Card Weekend Schedule

4:30 p.m. ET (5) Cleveland Browns at (4) Houston Texans (NBC)

8 p.m. ET (6) Miami Dolphins at (3) Kansas City Chiefs (Peacock)

Sunday, Jan. 14

1 p.m. ET (7) Pittsburgh Steelers at (2) Buffalo Bills (CBS)

4:30 p.m. ET (7) Green Bay Packers at (2) Dallas Cowboys (Fox)

8 p.m. ET (6) Los Angeles Rams at (3) Detroit Lions (NBC)

Monday, Jan. 15

8 p.m. ET (5) Philadelphia Eagles at (4) Tampa Bay Buccaneers (ESPN/ABC)

A wild Week 18 in the NFL ultimately determined these matchups. The Houston Texans clinched a playoff berth by defeating the Indianapolis Colts Saturday in a winner-take-all matchup. The Green Bay Packers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers needed wins to punch their ticket to the postseason. Green Bay defeated the Bears 17-9, while the Buccaneers took care of the Panthers 9-0.

The weekend’s biggest upset came in Sunday’s matchup between the Jacksonville Jaguars and Tennessee Titans. All Jacksonville needed was to win, and they would be in, but the Titans hoped to play spoiler. With a massive fourth down stop at the Tennessee one-yard line in the fourth quarter, the Titans completed the upset, ending Jacksonville’s season with a 28-20 victory. The Pittsburgh Steelers clinched a playoff spot with the loss by the Jaguars.

To cap off the NFL regular season, the Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins played for the AFC East Division on Sunday night. It was a back-and-forth battle, with the teams combining for five turnovers. The Bills came out on top 21-14 in large part to the 96-yard punt return touchdown from Buffalo’s Deonte Harty.

By finishing first in their respective conferences, the Baltimore Ravens (AFC) and San Francisco 49ers (NFC) have a first-round bye and will not play until the divisional round on Jan. 20-21.
