We have reached the first bye weeks of this season. The NFL has a really solid slate of games this week. Packers vs Bears, Chargers vs Ravens lead the headlines. Lets take a look at some over/unders.

Let’s get into it and win some money together!

Hit the Over!

Justin Herbert

Justin Herbert and Lamar Jackson are both coming off of thrilling comeback victories in week 5. This matchup will be electric. I’m taking Justin Herbert going for over 296.5 passing yards. Seems like a lock to me. The Ravens have given up on average 296.4 passing yards per game, tied for 29th in the NFL. Justin Herbert is fourth in passing yards this season, he has gone for over 300 yards in three of five games this season. This is a recipe for a big passing game from Herbert. Both the Chargers and Ravens are 4-1, and both offenses put up big numbers. This game should definitely be a shootout and there will be a lot of yards and points put on the board.

Lamar Jackson

Staying in the same game, I have Lamar Jackson going for over 313.5 total yards. The Chargers have averaged giving up 214 passing yards per game. Jackson’s passing numbers have continued to go up every week this season. The past two weeks going for 316 and 442 yards through the air. Jackson had a slow start to the season but has been picking it up lately.

Jackson’s strength is his dual ability as a quarterback, he is also the best runner at his position. He has double digit rushing attempts in three of his five games so far, he has averaged at least 4 yards per carry in every game this year, but he has also averaged more than 6 yards in 3 games. The same reasoning for my Herbert pick, this game will be high scoring , both teams are going to be moving the ball up and down the field.

Aaron Rodgers

Aaron Rodgers is taking on the Chicago Bears this week. This is one of the best rivalries in the NFL. Rodgers has averaged 240 passing yards per game against the Bears in his career. With that being said, I’m taking Rodgers over 266.5 passing yards. He is floating around 240 passing yards a game this season. Nothing stellar for the 3x MVP, but I expect him to step up his game in rivalry game like this. Plus, he’s got Davante Adams to throw the ball too. That will always make things easier on the quarterback.

Davante Adams

Davante Adams is one of the leagues best receivers. Adams has gone for over 100 yards receiving in three of five games this year. That’s why I am taking Adams over 98.5 receiving yards. I’m expecting a big game from Rodgers, and in the past three weeks, Adams has had double digit targets in three straight games. Including a 16 and an 18 target game. With that high of a target share, Adams is bound to be getting the ball.
