Paul Pierce Undisputed

You can add another voice to the list of contributors to FS1’s Undisputed – former Celtics great Paul Pierce. This won’t be just a few times thing either, by the sound of it he will be a regular contributor to the show.

According to the Post’s Ryan Glasspiegel, a deal may be imminent but is not established. Pierce would a join a list of co-hosts that includes Rachel Nichols, Richard Sherman and Michael Irvin.

Paul Pierce has made sporadic appearances on Undisputed in the past. It appears that the FS1 executives like what he brings to the table. For good reason as well, a lot of the personalities that they have for Undisputed have a background in Football. With the NBA Playoffs inching closer it makes sense to want more Basketball content.

Shannon Sharpe did have knowledge in basketball, but he departed last summer. In February, they hit a record-low number of views, averaging only 50,000. Compared to when Sharpe was a mainstay. They now believe that Pierce will change that. A guy who has no filter and is known for getting frustrated. It’s only a matter of time before Pierce reaches Sharpe’s level of frustration at Undisputed. I’d say less than two months.

The one thing that the guy has though, is the basketball knowledge. He is arguably one of the best basketball players of the 21st century and has his name enshrined in the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame. A former 10-time All-Star with the Boston Celtics.

Recently, he’s been the co-host of “Ticket & The Truth” with Kevin Garnett. He also served as an analyst at ESPN, but was fired in 2021 for posting a video on his Instagram story of him playing poker and smoking marijuana at a party that also had some adult entertainment.
