The PFL sent out a press release announcing main card fights for three playoff events next month. On August the second Heavyweights and Women’s Flyweights will compete in Nashville, Tennessee. Following this event, the PFL will have their playoff matchups for Light Heavyweights and Lightweights on Friday, August 16th. The very next weekend on August 23rd the promotion will Welterweights and Featherweights compete for their chance in the million-dollar final. Below are the Playoff contests announced by the PFL this week.
August 2nd- Nashville
Starting the PFL Playoffs, Heavyweights and Women’s Flyweights compete in semifinal matchups from Nashville, Tennessee. Undefeated Flyweight Champion Dakota Ditcheva faces Jiu-Jitsu blackbelt Jena Bishop in a striker vs. grappler matchup. Also, Former UFC title challenger Talia Santos takes on Bellator Women’s Flyweight Champion Liz Carmouche.
Heavyweight Playoff Main Event: Denis Goltsov (34-8) vs. Tim Johnson (18-9)
Women’s Flyweight Playoff Co-Main Event: Dakota Ditcheva (12-0) vs. Jena Bishop (7-1)
Heavyweight Playoff Main Card Bout: Oleg Popov (18-1) vs. Linton Vassell (25-9)
Women’s Flyweight Playoff Main Card Bout: Liz Carmouche (22-7) vs. Talia Santos (21-3)
August 16th- Hollywood, Florida
The Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood, Florida will be home for PFL playoff action in the Light Heavyweight and Lightweight divisions. Impa Kasanganay will look to repeat as PFL Light Heavyweight champion following his 2023 victory. Former Bellator Lightweight Champion Brent Primus takes on all-action veteran Clay Collard in a very exciting stylistic clash.

August 23rd- Washington D.C
The PFL returns to the nation’s capital this August with a star-studded card featuring Featherweight and Welterweight contenders. Former PFL champion Brendan Loughnane and undefeated Russian fighter Magomed Umalatov look to advance to the million-dollar final of the PFL Playoffs.
