Rudiger Signs

This morning, Antonio Rudiger completed the final part of his medical and spoke to the media for the first time as a Real Madrid player. Rudiger will wear number 22 and he’ll be at the club until 2026. In his press conference, he spoke about the history of the club, what he will bring on and off the pitch and he also admitted that Barca were interested in him but he chose Real. He will now resume his vacation before joining the team for pre season on July 8th.  

Kroos rejects Contract Renewal Offer

According to “SER”, Toni Kroos has decided to reject a contract renewal offer. He wants to wait until the end of next season and assess his performances and fitness levels before making a final decision. His current contract expires in 2023. The club expressed their surprise to the player but they respect his decision. 

Vini Contract Update

The Brazilian will sign a five (5) year contract instead of a four (4) year contract. Florentino Perez personally requested the change to limit any future problems and the player accepted. He’ll be at the club until 2027.

Real Madrid eager to tie down Militao

MARCA reports that Eder Militao’s renewal is considered a priority. His current one expires in 2025, but the board want to ensure he continues at the club without worrying about another club trying to sign him.

Asensio and Ceballos are set to leave

Marco Asensio and Dani Ceballos have not received renewal offers from Real Madrid. Real are listening to offers for the two players who are set to leave the club this summer. Arsenal, Man United, Newcastle and Liverpool are reportedly interested in Asensio and Betis are eager to bring Ceballos back.
