Important hours for USA goalkeeper Gabriel Slonina

Gabriel Slonina is an eighteen (18) year old goalkeeper who plays for Chicago Fire in the MLS. He’s one of the highest rated prospects in America and top European clubs are after his signature.

Chelsea were in talks to sign Slonina until the controversy unfolded with their former owner. Real Madrid made an official bid to Chicago Fire last week, but it was turned down. Now, having re-stabalized their board and club, Chelsea have reopened talks to sign the keeper.

Slonina’s agent confirmed that the player’s dream is to play for Los Blancos. Jaime Garcia, Gabriel’s agent, said, “We hope Chicago can find an agreement with Real Madrid to realise Gabriel’s dream of playing for Real”. “With respect to other clubs and other offers- you can’t say no to Real Madrid.”

This is certainly a transfer and player to keep an eye on in the future.

Real Madrid Transfer Plans Now

After securing the signatures of Antonio Rüdiger and Aurelien Tchouaméni, Real Madrid are now focusing on getting rid of some players before making any more additions. The next addition will most likely be a young striker who’ll be Benzema’s backup. Ultimately, Los Blancos are expected to bolster their team further in an attempt to defend their titles.

Who played today?

Eden Hazard came off the bench for Belgium in their 1-1 draw against Wales. Fede Valverde started and playes 75 minutes for Uruguay against Panama in a friendly match. The game ended 5-0 in favor of Uruguay.
