1. Vini Jr

After cementing his place in the starting 11 last season, the Brazilian has started off this season on fire. He has 6 G/A in 8 matches, with most of those coming in the absence of his partner in crime, Karim Benzema.

He has shown a desire to score, create chances and drive his team forward in times of adversity. Whether he’s having a good game or not, he never stops trying, which is why he’s a fan favorite at the Bernabeu. He connects with the fans with his flamboyant personality, amazing skillset and determination, which is what they love.

It’s been a great start to the season for Vini and he’ll be eager to keep growing and improving.

2. Fede Valverde

Federico Valverde has elevated his game to the next level. He has now added more output to his game (goals and assists) and is influencing the game much more. The Uruguayan was always capable of performing at this level. The problem was the role he was given. He was instructed to contribute defensively and be an offensive outlet when the opportunity arises. Now, Ancelotti has given him the license to attack more often and use his elite ball progression ability to beat the press.

It goes without saying that he has a tremendous engine but people weren’t aware of his technical and ball striking ability. It’s one thing to have an engine, but you must be willing to use it and fight for every one of your duels. Real have a gem on their hands and he has the potential to be a world class footballer.

3. Toni Kroos

Kroos has been superb so far this season. This is presumed to be the German’s last season before he hangs up his boots and he wants to give Madridistas a season to remember. His passing has been phenomenal as per usual and defensively, he’s been great.

The German Sniper won’t be going to the World Cup as he has retired from international football. So he’ll be well rested going into the second half of the season.
