The Seattle Seahawks are making sure they have all their bases covered before they take the field on Sunday against the Colts. Having just restructured starting LT Duane Brown, they have now restructured star Safety Quandre Diggs, converting $100,000 of per-game roster bonuses into salary and $5.05 million of his salary into a signing bonus, while also adding a void year in his contract, sources are telling Field Yates.
After holding in for most of camp, Diggs got more injury protection with the restructured contract and the Seahawks gained some salary cap space.
Diggs is entering his contract year and will look to prove he is worthy of the big extension he held in for.
