The Kraken Has Been Released

The picks are in for the Seattle Kraken expansion draft. The Seattle Kraken were allowed to select one player from each team to help build their first ever roster. Teams were also able to draft pending free agents from other teams and sign them. Here are the names joining the NHL’s new team.

On paper, this looks like a very young and defensive centric roster. The Kraken will look to compete early on in their history. They will add the number two overall selection in the NHL draft. With this roster, you have a little bit of everything. Puck drop can’t come soon enough.
