Steelers HC Mike Tomlin is Doing The Impossible

For 16 years straight the Pittsburgh Steelers and Mike Tomlin have been the definition of a dynamic duo. Mike Tomlin, who was hired in 2007, has never had a losing season.

However, Mike Tomlin is arguably facing his hardest challenge yet, and if he can overcome and do the impossible, in my eyes he’s arguably the greatest coach of all time. But it’s not exactly what you think.

Mike Tomlin and Ben Roethlisberger

From (2007 to 2021) the Pittsburgh Steelers were winning and controlling the AFC North. which was led by the Hall of Fame duo Ben Roethlisberger and Tomlin. This includes (One Super Bowl championship, Two Super Bowl appearances, Seven Division Titles, and 10 trips to the playoffs). The legendary duo also combined for 127 regular season wins.

But now Tomlin is looking at the hardest challenge in his hall-of-fame career.

Mike Tomlin and The Impossible

Ushering in a New Era of Pittsburgh Steelers Football, Mike Tomlin is now doing what nobody has ever done before, looking to add another piece of NFL history to his name. Mike Tomlin has led the Steelers to a 6-3 record this year, with an unsure answer at quarterback with Kenny Pickett.

For the first time in NFL history, Mike Tomlin and the Pittsburgh Steelers, are the only team to have a winning record while being outgained in every major offense stat in every game this year. Nobody in NFL history has been able to do that.

If he continues for the remainder of the season, and Mike Tomlin is successful in bringing this team to the playoffs, he should be in the conversation for The Greatest of All Time.
