Yes, you read that right, after an unbelievable 22-year run, the GOAT, Tom Brady is retiring from football. Some fans will see this as the end of an incredible era, for others, they’ll let out a sigh of relief.
Brady retires following an NFC Divisional round game they lost to the Rams last week.
On Brady’s Lets go Podcast following the game, he said “It pains her to see me get hit out there. And she deserves what she needs from me as a husband and my kids deserve what they need from me as a dad.” A little hint that this decision was coming.
No matter how you feel about him as a fan of football, the man has the greatest career resume of any quarterback, and any player.
Brady ended his career with 7 Super Bowl championships (5 SBMVP’s), 3 league MVPs, 15 Pro Bowls, and is the all-time leader in passing touchdowns, passing yards, and career wins.
The GOAT will move on from the NFL. His career will lead him to the Hall of Fame. The Dynasty’s and the controversies will live on forever. And we’ll see where his post-playing days take him.
