Former Arizona Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury is expected to interview with the Chicago Bears for their offensive coordinator opening.
Kingsbury was a senior offensive analyst and quarterbacks coach at USC last season and worked directly with Caleb Williams, who is the projected number-one overall pick that Chicago currently possesses.
Kingsbury spent four seasons as the Cardinals head coach before getting fired. He had a record of 28-37-1 with the Cardinals, and his best season with the team was in 2021 leading them to a 11-6 record but getting eliminated in the wild-card round by the Rams.
Although Kliff Kingsbury is a significant name, he is not the only candidate for the Bears.
NBC Sports Chicago reported that the Bears have conducted five interviews for their offensive coordinator position. Kentucky offensive coordinator Liam Coen, Seattle Seahawks QB coach Greg Olson, San Francisco 49ers passing game coordinator Klint Kubiak, Seattle Seahawks OC Shane Waldron, and former Ravens OC Greg Roman.
