Two weeks of Formula One racing are in the books, and Max Verstappen continues to dominate the field. Verstappen started on the pole of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix and cruised to the easy victory. The Dutch F1 superstar won the first two races to start the season and 19 of the last 20 Formula One races.
Red Bulll Racing continues to experience turmoil due to the allegations of misconduct by team principal Christian Horner. Horner has been cleared of allegations, but Verstappen’s people hint there is still issues between the star drive and the principal. Still, the on-track product hasn’t suffered. Verstappen’s teammate, Sergio Perez, finished second giving the team its second 1-2 finish of the season. In 2023, Red Bull Racing won 21 of 22 races with Verstappen winning 19 and Perez winning two. It’ll be interesting to see if there are any changes at Red Bull Racing to keep Verstappen or if the three-time series champion will move on.
Ferrari joined the two Red Bull Racing drivers on the podium, but it was a different driver. Charles Leclerc finished third just one week after teammate Carlos Sainz finished third in Bahrain. Leclerc will be one of two drivers racing for Ferrari in 2025. Sainz must race for a new ride, but he missed the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix due to appendicitis.
Oliver Bearman climbed in the Ferrari in place of Sainz and made a memorable F1 debut. Bearman finished seventh in the race, the highest finish among the British drivers.

F2 Saudi Arabia Race
Before the F1 drivers took the track, a familiar name took the top spot on the podium in the F2 feature race. Enzo Fittipaldi made a spectacular pass in the late stage of the race to ensure his first ever F2 feature race victory. Fittipaldi looks to make his own mark in the racing world while coming from a well-known racing family. His grandfather is two-time F1 Champion Emerson Fittipaldi, while he is also related to other famous drivers, Christian Fittipaldi and Max Papis.
