The College Football National Championship is around the corner. The CFP committee has highly regarded Georgia over the past three years. The Bulldogs are in a strong debate for the No. 1 spot. Just this week, Georgia iclaimed that spot over Ohio State, Michigan, Florida State and others.
They were kinda rocky at the beginning of the season. They’ve had some games that were fairly close, but most of their games have been blowouts in favor of Georgia. They have the Championship pedigree under Kirby Smart. Especially after winning the last two National Championships.
The Bulldogs have not lost a step offensively with Carson Beck leading the way. The offense that many doubted is No. 6 in Total Yards and Total Points. The Offense has been converting on Third Down at a 55% clip, which goes to prove that this Offense definitely isn’t a weak point. This coaching staff has a lot of experience, even with the success that they’ve had in coaches getting new jobs elsewhere. Such as Dan Lanning taking the head coaching position in Oregon.
The Georgia Bulldogs have several solid wins that look good in the eyes of the CFP committee. Especially, the wins against Missouri and Ole Miss. However, the season isn’t done yet either. They have some pretty tough matchups left on the schedule between Tennessee and rival Alabama.
Time Stamps:
0:04 – Championship Pedigree
0:08 – Georgia’s Offense has not missed a beat
0:36 – Will Tennessee be a difficult test?
