Who will finish in the top 4?

The 2022/23 season commences in three weeks. At the moment, teams are taking part in their respective pre-season camps and regaining their foundational fitness levels before the season starts. In this article, I will be predicting the top 4 finishers in Europe’s top 5 leagues. These are just my opinions and as we all know, in football, nothing is certain.

1. Real Madrid

2. FC Barcelona

3. Atletico Madrid

4. Sevilla

Barca have bought Kessie, Christensen, Lewandowski, Raphinha and renewed the contract of Ousmane Dembélé. Their squad looks much better than last season in quantity and quality. Ancelotti wanted another center back and defensive midfielder and his wishes were granted. Real have signed Tchouaméni and Antonio Rüdiger. Some may argue that they need another offensive player but an injury-free Hazard will feel like a new signing for them. There wasn’t a genuine title race last season, but things are heating up going into next season between the Spanish rivals. Don’t write off Simeone’s Atletico as they always have ambitions of winning the league.

Premier League

1. Man City

2. Liverpool

3. Spurs

4. Chelsea

I think Man City will defend their title this season. The additions of Haaland, Alvarez and Kalvin Phillips have fixed 95% of their problems. They have a natural striker, a backup for Rodri and another talented offensive player. Liverpool will still challenge but I think losing Mane will hinder their pursuit of the title. My dark horse for the season is Spurs. Conte has received backing from the board and has held onto key players like Kane and Son. We’ve seen what he can do with a decent squad and dedicated players. It’s poised to be another brilliant season of Premier League football.

Seria A

1. Juventus

2. AC Milan

3. Inter Milan

4. Napoli

In my opinion, this season, the Seria A title race will be between Juve, AC Milan and Inter Milan. Juve have brought Pogba back and signed Di Maria and Zakaria and Vlahović will have their first full season with the club. Milan have acquired Origi while Inter have re-signed Romelu Lukaku. It’s set up for an exciting and drama-filled season.

Bundesliga

1. Bayern

2. Dortmund

3. RB Leipzig

4. Leverkusen

Bayern are favorites to win the Bundesliga title but don’t write Dortmund off with the additions of Haller and Karim Adeyemi.

1. PSG

2. Monaco

3. Marseille

4. Nice

Monaco have signed Minamino and Embolo but I still think that PSG will win the league.
