Earlier this year, the WWE and new parent company TKO had announced a new partnership where Monday Night Raw would stream exclusively on Netflix starting on January 1, 2025. The current deal for WWE Raw with NBC is set to expire in October 2024. That left a three month span with no deal.

TKO has now released their first-quarter earnings report and it includes a new 3-month agreement that had been worked out between the WWE’s parent company and NBCU. One could only assume that would mean WWE Monday Night Raw will stay on USA through 2024.

“WWE entered into a $25 million domestic media rights agreement with NBCUniversal for Raw to remain on USA Network for the fourth quarter of 2024,” a company release said.

For USA Network the short extension will give them a few more months to explore their options. Having a wrestling show on the regularly programming network has been a success for a long time. For the WWE and TKO, the short-term deal gives the franchised weekly program a familiar home to fans before switching to Netflix.

According to reports, NBC will pay $25 Million to keep Raw on Monday Nights in October, November and December. Starting in 2025, Netflix will be the home of the show that has been on cable for 13 years. During that time, Raw ranked No. 1 in P18-49 audiences. Along with the main Raw program, the deal gives Netflix rights to all WWE shows and specials outside the U.S., including other weekly franchises SmackDown and NXT. The streaming outlet will also have live outlets, PLEs, documentaries, original series and forthcoming projects available on demand outside of the US.
