Match Card
Brock Lesnar vs. Omos
Lesnar may not be fully done with Bobby Lashley. However, this match arose when MVP laid out a challenge for him to face the 7-4, 400 lb. Omos. Better known as the Nigerian Giant.
Seth Rolins vs. Logan Paul
Paul, much like his brother, has emerged as one of the most athletically brilliant celebrity crossovers in Professional Wrestling. His match for the Undisputed WWE World Heavyweight Championships at Crown Jewel was a big hit. As was his appearance in the Royal Rumble that saw him & Ricochet clothesline each other in mid-air. Paul interfered in the US title match at Elimination Chamber and took out Rollins, which allowed this match to take place at WWE Wrestlemania 39.
Damage CTRL vs. Lita, Trish Stratus, & Becky Lynch
Lynch and Bayley have been in many feuds in their careers, though this may be the best one due to the returning legends in Lita and Trish Stratus. Their returns have been long overdue, and it was only a matter of time until we saw them compete together.
Dominik Mysterio vs. Rey Mysterio
The storyline for the Rey vs. Dom (Father vs. Son) match has been a long build. It’s seen Rey try to get away from his Son, Call the police on his son, and say no the match at Wrestlemania. The latter has led to Dom insulting his father. While Rey insists he will never wrestle his son, the match happening seems a foregone conclusion.
Raquel Rodriguez & Liv Morgan vs. Natalya & Shotzi vs. Sonya Deville & Chelsea Greene vs. Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler
This fatal four-tag match was announced on Monday, March 20 with only one team confirming their spot so far.
Braun Strowman & Ricochet vs. Street Profits vs. Alpha Academy vs. The Viking Raiders
The Men’s Fatal Four Tag Match may determine the next No. 1 contender for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships.
*Hell in a Cell Match*
Finn Balor vs. Edge
A storyline that has been going on for quite some time features Edge and the Judgement Day, sooner rather than later it may be one that needs to end. Especially, if the WWE would like to see Edge make one more title run after WWE Wrestlemania 39.
*Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship Match*
Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn vs. The Usos (c)
Zayn and Owens had issues with each other while the former was in the Bloodline. Though, that is now a formality of the past as both superstars now have issues with the faction. Jey Uso stood by Zayn after the latter betrayed Roman Reigns, until he eventually betrayed the latter. Zayn and Owens appear to be on the same page now after hugging it out.
*Intercontinental Championship Match*
Sheamus vs. Drew McIntyre vs. Gunther (c)
McIntyre and Sheamus battled on Smackdown to find out who would face Gunther. Imperium attacked both wrestlers which led to Adam Pearce making it a triple threat match.
*United States Championship Match*
John Cena vs. Austin Theory (c)
This is a match that has been discussed since Theory was on the independent scene. When Theory officially laid out the challenge, Cena intialy said No. Though by the end of the segment, he agreed to please the fans.
*SmackDown Women’s Championship Match*
Rhea Ripley vs. Charlotte Flair (c)
Ripley was the favorite to win the Women’s Royal Rumble and did just that. Not only did she win but she set the record for the longest performance in Women’s Rumble match. The following evening she chose Flair over Belair.
*Raw Women’s Championship Match*
Asuka vs. Bianca Belair (c)
Asuka won the Elimination Chamber to qualify as the No. 1 contender at Wrestlemania. Bianca Belair has been able to beat any Women that has stood across from her so far including Becky Lynch, Alexa Bliss, and many others.
*Undisputed WWE Universal Championship Match*
Cody Rhodes vs. Roman Reigns (c)
This features to be a marquee matchup that would not have happened years ago in the WWE. It would have been labeled a fantasy dream if someone predicted it. Reigns has established himself as a generational superstar with a record-setting title run. Rhodes upgraded to a Main Event Talent in AEW, which has been the second-biggest North American promotion since WCW in 2001. A long storyline plays into this match as Rhodes looks to become the first in his family to win the coveted WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
