6 Teams You Will Hate to Face in College Football 25

College Football 25

EA Sports

College Football 25 is just around the corner, and everyone will be ready to use their favorite team in online play. As a Florida fan, I’m pretty satisfied with how our team looks as an 86 overall. We could certainly be much worse. But there are several teams in this game that will be downright overpowered, and we already know which ones they are. Here are the six teams you are going to hate to face in College Football 25.

Oregon Ducks

Oregon is led by one of the top QBs in the game in Dillon Gabriel at 92 overall. He’ll be throwing to two of the fastest receivers in the game with Tez Johnson (91 overall) and Texas A&M transfer Evan Stewart (90 overall). Both receivers have at least 95 speed. Defensively they are stacked too with players like CB Jabbar Muhammad (91 overall), DE Jordan Burch (88 overall) and LB Jeffrey Bassa (87 overall).

Ohio State Buckeyes

Ohio State clocks in with the number one defense in College Football 25 with 10 players having an overall of 85 or better. They are going to be a nightmare to move the ball against. The defense is led by safety Caleb Downs (95 overall), who is also the top safety in College Football 25. Offensively, the have the best running back pair in the game with Treveyon Henderson (93 overall) and Quinshon Judkins (95 overall). Their receivers are loaded too with Emeka Egbuka (93 overall), Carnell Tate (85 overall), and true-freshman Jeremiah Smith (84 overall). QB Will Howard comes in at 85 overall and has sneaky running ability too, making this a team with zero weaknesses. This team will be one of my favorites to use and maybe my most hated to face.

Alabama Crimson Tide

Good luck sacking their quarterback Jalen Milroe, who comes in at 90 overall with a scary speed rating of 91. They have a massive offensive line led by Tyler Booker and will be able to beat up most teams in the trenches. Their receivers aren’t amazing but they have a ton of great backs that will make passing an afterthought. This is a noob’s favorite team right here. This is the team your 36-year-old friend will be using after not touching a controller for over a decade. Defensively, they have DB Malachi Moore (92 overall) and LB Deontae Lawson (88 overall). They have some of the best depth in College Football 25 with 8 players at 83 or higher.

Ole Miss Rebels

Ole Miss will be the team you use if you wanna drop 50 on your opponent. Dual-threat QB Jaxson Dart clocks in at a 90 overall and will be throwing to three receivers with an overall of 86 or higher. They also get Lane Kiffin’s playbook, which will be chalk-full of exciting passing and trick plays. But the Rebels did work in the transfer portal and built a decent defense for College Football 25. They landed number one transfer DT Walter Nolan (93 overall) and DE Princely Umanmielen (89 overall).

Georgia Bulldogs

The Bulldogs were always going to be a nightmare to face as the number one ranked team in College Football 25. With a number one stadium rating as well, a road game here might force a rage quit out of me. The team is a 95 overall led by one of the top QBs in the game in Carson Beck (93 overall). Their top receivers are Dominic Lovett (86 overall) and TE Oscar Delp (90 overall). But their running game might be better with Florida transfer RB Trevor Etienne (88 overall). As you’d expect, their offensive line is a brick wall. They’re led by the best guard in the game, Tate Ratledge (95 overall). We saved the best for last with their number 2 rated defense. Georgia has elite players on this side of the ball, such as DL Mykel Williams (93 overall) and CB Malachi Starks (95 overall).

Texas Longhorns

The Texas Longhorns have speed all over their offense. Led by QB Quinn Ewers (92 overall), he has six receivers he could throw to with a speed rating at 92 overall or higher. Top receivers Isaiah Bond, Silas Bolden, and Matthew Golden all have an overall rating of 86 or better. And we can’t forget about their 5-star runningback Cedrick Baxter (87 overall). On defense they have on of the top edge rushers in Trey Moore (89 overall) and 5-star LB Anthony Hill (86 overall). Their secondary is also loaded with DBs Andrew Mukuba (89 overall) and Malik Muhammad (87 overall).
