BREAKING: DEANDRE JORDAN TRADED

ESPN Sources: Brooklyn is trading C DeAndre Jordan, four future-second round picks and $5.78M to Detroit for Jahlil Okafor and Sekou Doumbouya. Pistons plan to work through a buyout on two-years, $20M owed Jordan; Nets will save $47M in salary and tax on deal.

Breaking News: First reported by Adrian Wojnarwoski, Brooklyn has traded Center DeAndre Jordan to the Pistons. This is a move that many expected to come. It now this opens the door for Jordan to make his way to LA. The belief being that the Pistons are going to buy him out of his contract. With a log jam of big men in Brooklyn it makes sense that Jordan was the domino to fall. The move allows a little more flexibility for Brooklyn and gives Jordan a potential return to the city he became a star in.

Woj has confirmed that the plan is for the Pistons to buy out Jordan. The belief being that the Lakers would be a prime contender for his services.
