Ranking PSG’s window so far

Paris St-Germain might have had the best transfer window ever in the history of transfer windows. And they’ve only spent 70 million euros. The rest were free transfers. And boy they were some superb transfers. With these new signings that PSG made. It shows a real statement of intent on winning every trophy. With additions like Achraf Hakimi from Inter for 70 million. Although they didn’t spend much money on transfers. They made their signings with free transfers. Sergio Ramos, Gianluigi Donnarumma and Georginio Wijnaldum on a free transfer. PSG are trying everything they can to get that elusive champions league title.

But not only that, they are trying everything to sign Lionel Messi. Along with signing star wonderkid Kylian Mbappe to a new contract. New Boss Mauricio Pochettino is looking to stack up his already stacked team even more. With an addition like Messi. It will create an unstoppable attack that will leave defenders panicking on who to defend. Neymar has been pushing PSG to sign Messi in hopes that he can get his former teammate to PSG. It will reunite the Brazilian with the Argentinean winger.

Has anyone done better

PSG have undoubtedly won this year’s transfer window and down right best transfer window ever. With several high profile signings. Although this was a great transfer window. There will be a lot of expectations for them to do will. And although no one can match this feat unless they spend a ton of money. Or get some superstars on free transfers. PSG have outdone everyone. Will we seem more drama with the PSG window? Or will the free-transfers end there.

What are their expectations

PSG will definitely target the LIgue 1 title, but they will mainly put their focus on the UEFA Champions League. As that has been their main goal for a long time. Although they came close in 2019, they have failed to win it with such an amazing squad. Although they may have failed then by the looks of it now, with this squad they may be capable of doing. But with a summer transfer window like this, it looks like PSG are going all out for the champions league and possibly the French cup. Will they be able to do it? Only time will tell.
