A pair of young players stepped up as the Brooklyn Nets have found their next star point guard, and the Sacramento Kings rookie Keegan Murray helped the Kings score 140.
Thomas Dazzles with 47 Points
After his 44-point performance on Saturday, Nets guard Cam Thomas scored 47 points, averaging 46 points since Kyrie Irving left the team. Even in a 124-116 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers, Thomas stole the show as he shot 15-29 from the field and 7-11 from three. The second-year guard has stunned the league and will continue to be a part of a team’s starting lineup in disarray as the trade deadline looms.
Kings Rookie Shows Up
In an easy matchup for the Kings going against the lowly Houston Rockets, Keegan Murray had 30 points, shot 11-17 from the field, 8-12 from three and six rebounds. The Kings have become an offensive powerhouse, and Keegan Murray breaking out of it makes them unstoppable. Sitting at the third seed in the Western Conference with 30 wins, the Kings are cruising towards a playoff spot for the first time since 2005-06.
Vintage Klay Night
Without Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson put on an immense performance to give the Golden State Warriors a victory. In the first half, Thompson had 27 points and shot 7-9 from beyond the arc, the most threes in a half since his 2019 season. Thompson finished the game with 42 points, shot 15-22 from the field and 12-16 from beyond the arc. Tonight marks the second most career threes in a game

- Boston Celtics didn’t slow down without Jaylen Brown, as Jayson Tatum had 34 points, 11 rebounds and six assists
