Prior to Wrestlemania 39, the WWE contract that Logan Paul signed a year ago was set to expire. Neither side wasted time in getting a new deal done. The ‘social media megastar’ has already reached incredible heights in his first year with the company.
Paul took to Twitter on Monday morning and shared a photo with Paul “Triple H” Levesque, in which he can be seen showing off his renewed WWE contract. The photo also features a bottle of the Prime energy drink, whose company sponsored Paul’s match at WrestleMania 39.
Following his match at Wrestlemania 38… Paul has had acclaimed programs with Superstars such as The Miz, Roman Reigns, and Seth “Freaking” Rollins. Amassing a 2-3 record through the first five matches of the 28-year-old’s career. His performances have garnered far more attention than ever to the WWE.
Contract details have not yet been announced, but it has been confirmed that the new deal is a multi-year deal
“I feel incredibly blessed to have found something that I’m good at, at 28 years old,” Paul told ESPN. “And the fact that the organization believes I’m good enough to continue hopefully building this WWE legacy is mind-blowing. And I’m incredibly grateful and incredibly blessed. And as long as I can keep putting on good shows, man, I’m gonna keep doing this sport.”
It remains to be seen what will be in store for Logan Paul moving forward, but Tommy Fury has stated that he’d like to wrestle him in the WWE if the opportunity presents itself. Fury has already knocked off Jake Paul (Logan’s brother). His brother Tyson has already competed in a wrestling ring before. A Fury vs. Paul matchup would be a must-see for either Wrestlemania or SummerSlam.
