NFL Best Bets: Week 10

Week 10 of the NFL season is upon us and only two teams are favored by more than a touchdown, according to DraftKings Sportsbook. Here are my favorite bets of week 10, in order from most to least favorite.

Chiefs (-9) vs. Jaguars

When: Sunday, 1:00 p.m. ET

Where: Arrowhead Stadium, KS

This is a fantastic line for the Chiefs who are coming off a sloppy win against Malik Willis and the Titans at home. I’m not putting much stock into last week’s performance. I think we’ll see the Chiefs’ offense bounce back against a vulnerable Jaguars defense that ranks poorly against the pass. While they’ve been able to move the ball downfield, Trevor Lawrence and the Jags’ offense do not have enough firepower to keep up with Patrick Mahomes and his weapons. I’m taking the Chiefs to win by 10 all day.

Giants (-4.5) vs. Texans

When: Sunday, 1:00 p.m. ET

Where: Metlife Stadium, NY

The Giants are coming off of their bye week for this home matchup with Houston. I think the extra week of preparation and rest puts them in great shape to win by at least a touchdown against the 1-8 Texans. The Texans have the third-worst defense in the NFL and are particularly bad at stopping the run. Saquan could be in for a monster game Sunday and the Giants’ defense should be able to handle a one-dimensional Texans offense led by Dameon Pierce.

Dolphins vs. Browns (-49.5)

When: Sunday, 1:00 p.m. ET

Where: Hard Rock Stadium, FL

I’m taking over the total points here for one big reason. Believe it or not, Cleveland ranks ahead of Miami offensively due to their elite rushing attack and Jacoby Brissett‘s competent play. I was shocked to learn the 3-5 Browns actually have the fourth-best offense in the NFL, and they should have no trouble putting up points on Miami’s defense. The Dolphins got even better after the trade deadline with the addition of Jeff Wilson Jr., who already looks like their lead back. Miami ranks third overall in rushing but found something with Wilson as he rushed for 51 yards and caught a touchdown. If Nick Chubb doesn’t slow the game script down and limit Miami’s possessions, we have a good chance to see this game reach 50 total points.

Cardinals (+2) vs. Rams

When: Sunday, 4:25 p.m. ET

Where: SOFI Stadium, CA

Stay up to date on the injury news for this one, as both Matthew Stafford and Kyler Murray are questionable for the game. However, Matthew Stafford did not practice Thursday due to being in concussion protocols while Kyler was able to log a limited practice and has been ruled a game-time decision by Kliff Kingsbury. Even if both QBs miss the game, I still like Arizona’s chances to cover and even win in LA. The Rams have no run game, so without Stafford, I’m unsure of how they’ll score many points. Arizona at least has a healthy DeAndre Hopkins and a decent rushing attack with James Conner and Eno Benjamin. Give me the Cardinals to cover.
