The NFL season’s trade deadline is on Tuesday. NFL teams need to decide whether they will buy, sell, or stay put this deadline. The buyers will have to part with some draft capital and young players for their commitment to win the Super Bowl this year.
Green Bay Packers
Green Bay is struggling this season. They are sitting at a record of 3-4. The team is not good enough to win a Super Bowl as constructed. The Davante Adams trade has left a hole in their passing game, lacking a dependable number one receiver. The injuries on the offensive line has also hurt the passing game. The Packers have to be a playoff team this year to keep Aaron Rodgers happy. Rodgers is getting up there in age, and can retire when he wants if he feels the team is not doing enough to win. The Packers can look for pass catchers and offensive lineman to revive their offense.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Buccaneers are having similar struggles as the Packers. The offense is seriously struggling. The Buccaneers are not lacking pass catchers. The offensive line and run game has been poor. Tom Brady is 45 years old and retired last offseason before he announced to come back. Tampa Bay will likely not have another chance with the GOAT after this season. They need to go all in and the offensive average of 17.7 points per game is not enough. They should add as much talent as they can before the deadline.
Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs are competing every year with the duo of Patrick Mahomes at quarterback and Andy Reid as head coach. The Chiefs already made a move to acquire Kadarius Toney from the New York Giants. They have plenty of draft capital to make moves because of the Tyreek Hill trade. The Chiefs have one of the better NFL rosters, but there are holes they can fill. Adding a running back to their group would help out the offense and not make it as pass dependent. The Chiefs can afford to add more pieces to their defense whether it is pass rushers, secondary, and linebackers. The Chiefs have a real chance to win the Super Bowl, adding more can seriously increase those chances.
