If you haven’t heard by now, the WWE and UFC are combining to create a $21 Billion Sports and Entertainment company under Endeavor. Following that news a couple of NXT stars have requested their release from the WWE.

The two former Grizzled Young Veterans that are looking to be let go are Jagger Reid and Rip Fowler. The two superstars have also been known as James Drake and Zack Gibson, respectively. They competed alongside Ava and Joe Gacy and lost to the team of Andre Chase, Duke Hudson, Thea Hail, and Tyler Bate at WWE NXT’s Stand & Deliver, Saturday.

Though as of now, it is unclear as to why they have asked for their release, but the tag team known as ‘The Dyad’ should be in high demand on the independent scene.

The news was first reported by Fightful Select. It is believed that the two NXT superstars will make an announcement regarding the request soon.
