The Professional Fighters League returns to the “Windy City” for the first time since purchasing Bellator. This PFL Chicago fight card will take place at the Wintrust Arena on April 19th. The event will feature the beginning of the PFL Featherweight and Welterweight regular season tournaments.
In the main event undefeated Russian prospect Magomed Umalatov (14-0) faces former Bellator welterweight champion Andrey Koreshkov (27-4). Many Bellator fighters will be facing off against PFL opponents, including a can’t-miss matchup between Bubba Jenkins (21-7) and Kai Kamaka (12-5).
This is an action-packed event with high level talent throughout the card. Timur Khizriev (14-0) is one of the brightest young stars in the sport and will return to Chicago after picking up wins in the last three events Bellator had in the city. Khizriev will face Wales native Brett Johns (20-3) on the prelims.

A large portion of the Bellator roster will now be integrated into the PFL regular season tournament. Some of those fighters on this card including Justin Gonzales, Kai Kamaka, Enrique Barzola and Kyle Crutchmer amongst others. Over the last few years Bellator has built a substantial fan base in Chicago, selling out the Wintrust arena on multiple occasions.
