Real Madrid Players in Action Today

Eduardo Camavinga, Luka Jovic, Marco Asensio and Dani Carvajal are all in action today for their respective countries. Eduardo Camavinga and France take on Ukraine U21 at 18:45 CET. This is another qualification match for the UEFA European Under 21 Championship in Romania and Georgia. Carvajal and Asensio travel to Lancy to take on Switzerland in the Stade de Genève at 20:45 CET. At the same time, Jovic and Serbia will battle Sweden in matchday 3 in the UEFA Nations League.

Camavinga’s Performances so far

Against Serbia U21, the midfield gem played 73 minutes and registered an assist . On Monday, the Frenchman played 90 minutes in the CDM role and put in another emphatic performance in and out of possession. He’s definitely a leader for the Under 21’s and his regular first team call ups are only a matter of time.

Carvajal has played one (1) full game so far against Czech Republic. As expected from a Spanish full back, he was busy up and down the touchline and was heavily involved in the build up play.

Asensio, however, is finding it hard to get game time, but his assist for the late equalizer against Czech Republic should reward him with some more minutes.

Jovic’s Impact

The 24 year old scored a back-post header off the bench against Slovenia on Sunday. After the match, he said, “It means a lot to me. I haven’t had a chance to play much in the last six months, I’m grateful to the coach for giving me a chance. I scored a goal, I fought for the team, it’s very difficult when you don’t play often and I think it will be better and better.” He’ll be eager to start and impress today against Sweden.
