Real Madrid hosted Cadiz in their final La Liga match before the World Cup break. Los Blancos won the match 2-1 and these are the player ratings:

Courtois- 5.5/10 Made an error that led to the Cadiz goal. He was unfortunate to not keep the clean sheet but he’ll be satisfied to come away with the three points.
Lucas V- 6.5/10 Started off the game poorly but gradually grew into it. Ended the match with a 100% passing accuracy and three chances created.
Militao- 8.5/10 Showed great movement to score his third goal of the season and for the most part, was solid defensively. Additionally, his diagonal switches to Vini and Mendy were superb on the night.
Alaba- 8/10Very good in and out of possession. Made some crucial blocks and tackles to stop long range shots and counter attacks.
Mendy- 8/10 One of Mendy’s better performances this season. He was solid defensively and had the beating of his man throughout the match.
Tchouameni- 7.5/10 Superb defensive performance from the Frenchman. Cut many passing lanes and ended the match with three recoveries and a 99% passing accuracy. .
Kroos- 10/10 His return allowed Real to control the tempo of the game much better. He also produced an inch-perfect cross to Militao for his goal and a belter to double his team’s lead. The German is having an excellent season so far and he’ll be under great pressure to renew his contract as soon as possible.
Modric- 8.10 This is more like the Modric we know. Bounced back with a great game after a poor performance in the Estadio de Vallecas on Monday.
Valverde- 7/10 Another good performance from “El Pajarito”. Progressed the ball effortlessly and started many counterattacks with his intricate passes.
Vini Jr- 7/10 The Brazilian drastically improved in the second half after a very difficult first half due to the constant fouls from the Cadiz players.
Rodrygo- 6.5/10 Decent game from Rodrygo. Did well with limited service/space as Cadiz were very compact in defense.
