The Denver Broncos have acquired Russell Wilson. After spending ten seasons in Seattle that included a Super Bowl victory. Wilson now has a new home, in what will be most likely be considered the blockbuster trade of the offseason. On the other hand, Seattle in return is getting QB Drew Lock, DL Shelby Harris, TE Noah Fant along with multiple draft picks that includes 2 first round picks.
Without a doubt, this move made by the Broncos immediately makes them contenders in an already deep AFC. After rumors swirled for weeks about the Broncos potentially landing Aaron Rodgers. They end up getting a different QB from the NFC. Ever since Peyton Manning retired, it has always felt like Denver was just a decent Quarterback away from contending for another Super Bowl title.
With Wilson now in control of an offense that features Courtland Sutton, Jerry Jeudy, Javonte Williams, and Tim Patrick. Finally, Denver is now again potentially suited for a deep playoff run. Russell Wilson, who is a nine time pro bowler, will definitely have an immediate impact on an offensive unit that has struggled to throw the ball in recent years.
