Multiple Spanish reporters confirm that Isco’s transfer to Sevilla is imminent. The player likes Sevilla’s project, Lopetegui wants him and he has agreed to lower his demands. Sevilla line up in a 4-3-3 so the Spaniard will either play in the midfield or on the left flank. He will join the likes of Ivan Rakitić, Joan Jordan and Marcos Acuña in Seville. Sevilla also secured Champions League football for the upcoming season which is also a positive for Isco. The transfer is set to be announced soon but Sevilla have to sell before they can announce the transfer.
A move to Roma was previously rumored but Isco reportedly rejected the Italian club.
Isco will be eager to revive his career and show the world what he is still capable of. At the moment, he’s unlikely to get a call up to the national team, but anything is possible if he performs at a high level.
