Will Levis & Tennessee Titans

In the 2023 NFL Draft, the Tennessee Titans drafted Will Levis in the second round. Although Levis didn’t start at the beginning of the season, Levis showed why he should be the quarterback for the long term. After making major changes the Titans look to win now while Will Levis is under his rookie deal.

Brian Callahan

After firing Mike Vrabel shortly after the season, the Titans hired former Bengals OC Brian Callahan to be their next head coach.

Callahan was one of the NFL’s best Offensive Coordinators during his time in Cincinnati. (2019-2024) He helped develop Joe Burrow who became one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. Callahan played a huge part in helping the Bengals get to the Super Bowl in 2021.

With Will Levis entering his second season, Callahan has a chance to turn Levis into a top-10 quarterback as well.

Tony Pollard

The Titans made a difficult decision by letting Derrick Henry go in Free Agency. However, they were able to sign Tony Pollard who is still in his prime at age 27.

Pollard has rushed for 1,000 yards for the past two seasons, with an average of 4.5 rushing yards per attempt since 2022. In addition, if the Titans Offensive line improves this year, Pollard has a chance to be even better in his first year with Tennessee, which will help take a load off Will Levis.

Calvin Ridley

Tennessee has revamped their wide receiver room with pairing DeAndre Hopkins and newly signed Calvin Ridley. In order to win in today’s NFL, you’re offense must be able to score at a high rate. Tennessee is showing the AFC that they want to put the right pieces in place for Levis to be successful.

After missing all of 2022, Ridley had a great bounce back season with 1,000 receiving yards and eight touchdowns.

Ridley is going to be a huge end zone target for Tennessee in 2024.

L’Jarius Sneed

In addition, the Titans traded for one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL in L’Jarius Sneed. Sneed brings valuable championship experience to the defense as a two-time Super Bowl Champion.

Tennessee is building up the secondary by having Sneed on one side, while on the other side having young developing Roger McCreary.

Tyler Boyd

Lastly, the Titans were able to help add another valuable weapon in signing wide receiver Tyler Boyd. Boyd who has super bowl experience has been a consistent threat despite being a third option. Pairing Boyd with Ridley and Hopkins. Boyd can easily make this offense be a scary triple threat for Will Levis.

In a tough AFC South, Titans expectations are playoffs for the next few years while Will Levis is on his rookie deal.
