Top 10 Transfer Portal Wide Receivers

Let’s take a look at some of the top uncommitted wide receivers remaining in the transfer portal.

10. London Humphreys

Eligibility: Three years

Games Played: 12

Total Receiving Stats: 22 receptions, 439 yards, 4 touchdowns

The 6-foot-3, 186-pound Humphreys was Vanderbilt’s second-leading receiver in 2023 behind Will Sheppard. The All-SEC Freshman is being projected to land with the Georgia Bulldogs.  

9. Jahmal Banks

Eligibility: One year

Games Played: 43

Total Receiving Stats: 107 receptions, 1404 yards, 13 touchdowns

The 6-foot-4, 208-pound wide receiver had a productive last two seasons for Wake Forest. Banks was one of the highest-graded wide receivers in the ACC last season, according to Pro Football Focus. The big receiver has already paid a visit to Wisconsin and Purdue, with a visit to Notre Dame next.

8. Julian Fleming

Eligibility: One year

Games Played: 38

Total Receiving Stats: 79 receptions, 963 yards, 7 touchdowns

Fleming was one of the highest-rated recruits (4th overall) in the 2020 class according to the 247Sports Composite. However, he could never gain a foothold as the top option in a loaded wide receiver room at Ohio State. The 6-foot-2, 205-pound receiver is projected to land with Ohio State’s rival, Penn State.

7. Cyrus Allen

Eligibility: Two years

Games Played: 21

Total Receiving Stats: 68 receptions, 1278 receiving yards, 8 touchdowns

The 6-foot, 177-pound receiver entered the transfer portal after a productive start to his career at Louisiana Tech. Allen has already received offers from several schools, most notably Oregon and Miami.

6. Chris Brazzell II

Eligibility: Three years

Games Played: 15

Total Receiving Stats: 46 receptions, 722 yards, 5 touchdowns

At 6-foot-5, 200 pounds, Brazzell is one of the most physically imposing receivers in the transfer portal, and has plenty of eligibility left. He’s received interest from several schools, with Tennessee looking like the current leader.

5. Colbie Young

Eligibility: Two years

Games Played: 22

Total Receiving Stats: 79 receptions, 930 yards, 10 touchdowns

Another big-bodied receiver in the transfer portal, Young stands at 6-foot-5, 215 pounds. He had a solid 2023 for the Miami Hurricanes, and is one of the top wide receivers in the transfer portal. Young has already taken visits to some big-time schools, including Georgia and Penn State

4. Caullin Lacy

Eligibility: One year

Games Played: 47

Total Receiving Stats: 207 receptions, 2,517 yards, 13 touchdowns

Lacy was the leading receiver in the Sunbelt in 2023, with 1,316 receiving yards and 7 touchdowns. At 5-foot-10, 180 pounds, Lacy will be looking to play in the slot at the Power 5 level. Lacy has reportedly narrowed down his decision to Texas A&M and Louisville.

3. Ja’Corey Brooks

Eligibility: One year

Games Played: 37

Total Receiving Stats: 57 receptions, 896 yards, 10 touchdowns

The former Alabama receiver flashed a lot of potential during his time with the Tide, but his 2023 was plagued by injuries. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound receiver from Miami, FL has been linked to Miami and Louisville among others.

2. Matthew Golden

Eligibility: Two years

Games Played: 20

Total Receiving Stats: 76 receptions, 988 yards, 13 touchdowns

Golden was a former four-star recruit who just wrapped up his sophomore season with Houston. The 6-foot, 190-pound receiver is expected to remain in state and transfer to Texas.

1. Antwane Wells Jr.

Eligibility: One year

Games Played: 16

Total Receiving Stats: 71 receptions, 965 yards, 7 touchdowns

Wells had a fantastic 2022 at South Carolina, racking up 68 receptions, 928 receiving yards, and 6 touchdowns. His 2023 was cut short due to injury, giving him an extra year of eligibility. The 6-foot-1, 208-pound receiver is projected to end up with Texas or Tennessee.
