We are here, the first Premium Live Event of the “new season” for WWE is a little over twenty four hours away, WWE WrestleMania Backlash. Backlash this year will take place on Sunday May 8th, at 8PM Eastern from Rhode Island. The card will feature a mix of rematches from WrestleMania 38, which took place early April and some fresh matches that have been set up in recent weeks.

WWE has spent the last month building up this event, since the conclusion of the most “Stupendous” WrestleMania of all time. The card is a stacked one, featuring many of the biggest names in the WWE and should be a satisfying event to watch. Do not be surprised by any last minute additions to the card that may happen, prior to the event as their are a few storylines that could have a match added to the event. The following matches are scheduled to take place:

Happy Corbin vs. Madcapp Moss.

Bobby Lashley vs. Omos

AJ Styles vs. Edge… Damian Priest is banned from being at ringside.

Cody Rhodes vs. Seth Rollins.

Smackdown Women’s Championship Match: Charlotte Flair vs. Ronda Rousey “I Quit Match.”

Drew McIntyre & RK-Bro vs. Roman Reigns & The Usos “Six Man Tag Match.”

Backlash will surely be full of hard hitting bouts that will excite the fans, while moving WWE forward as it prepares for a big summer, with three stadium Premium Live Events on the horizon following “Hell in a Cell” in June. Do not be surprised if Hell in a Cell turns some of these great feuds into trilogies next month.
