The Cleveland Browns are heading to Miami to face the Dolphins and are looking at another must-win. If the Browns would like to be in position for the playoffs this is a crucial game. The Browns are coming off just beating the Bengals and would need this momentum to carry over. The Miami Dolphins are riding a three-game winning streak but many question the validity of said victories. Here we will discuss and preview the Browns vs the Dolphins.

Browns Overview

The Cleveland Browns offense was rolling the last time that we saw them in action against the Bengals. They scored 32 points and were able to do whatever they wanted on that side of the ball. The game against the Dolphins could be the same. How they would do that is to run the ball to open up the passing game. The Dolphins defense presents the Browns with some opportunities to have success in both passing and running. Miami’s offense will score so the Browns will need to score as well. Jacoby Brissett must be efficient in this game not turn the ball over. If the offense can do that then they will have some success

The Browns defense has been a letdown in the early part of the season. However, in the last few games, they have steadily improved. Only giving up 13 points to a rolling Bengals team. Cleveland can match up well with Miami. The strength of the Dolphin’s offense is their passing attack. In contrast, the Browns have the ability to throw multiple defensive backs that have speed and can cover the Dolphin’s speedy receivers. Tyreek Hill will get himself but Cleveland’s defense must limit multiple explosive plays. A major help in the secondary is returning Denzel Ward from a concussion injury. The defensive line can win matchups over this offensive line. As well they must clog up passing lanes and get their hands up to limit Tua.

Miami Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins are currently riding a three-game winning streak and look to make it four Sunday against the Browns. The Dolphins might have the most explosive offense in the NFL. Paired with the explosiveness and speed of Hill and Jalen Waddle might be the fastest receiver duo in the league. The speediness of both wideouts leads to the explosive plays that power this offense. In addition, Miami added edge rusher Bradley Chubb to strengthen an already strong defensive line. With multiple pass rushers up front, the Dolphins defense can get home in various ways. As well this team can score with anyone.

Overview

From the outside looking this game can look lopsided. However, both offenses can score and this game has the potential to be a shootout. Offensively the Browns need to run the ball to open everything else up. A heavy dosage of Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt will do the Browns well. Jacoby must be efficient in this game for the Browns to have a chance. Too many turnovers could lead to quick points by the Dolphins. Defensively they must be disciplined and patient on the back end. In the front end, the pass rush must get home and clog up passing lanes. The Dolphins must play their game. Getting the ball to Hill and Waddle will be vital. Get the ball out quickly and limit passing on defense. Finally, Cleveland is looking to keep their momentum going. Kevin Stefanski is 2-0 when coming off the bye week and would look to go 3-0 and keep their playoff hopes alive.
