After a disappointing 3-year stretch following the departure of Lebron James, the Cleveland Cavaliers have finally built back up their roster. In the 2021-2022 season, we saw the Cavs make the play-in tournament and come up just short of making the playoffs. Now in the following offseason, they’ve added Donovon Mitchell, one of the top 25 players in the entire NBA, while also keeping the majority of their core. This have given the city of Cleveland and Cavs fans tremendous excitement for the upcoming season in which should be one that sees the Cavs finally make the playoffs without Lebron James.

Last year we saw the breakout of Darius Garland and Jarrett Allen both earning their first All-Star Selections. Darius Garland was drafted fifth back in 2019 and has improved his game every year. Garland is one of the best distributors in the NBA and can score over 20 points a night. Jarrett Allen came from the Brooklyn Nets via trade and has blossomed since joining the Cavs. Allen has transformed from a solid big to an All-Star level player. Mobley was one of the best rookies last season and looks to be the future face of the franchise. He has the potential to be a top 10 player in this league. Mitchell comes in via trade with Utah after sending out Colin Sexton, Lauri Markkanen, and Ochai Agbaji. Mitchell is already in this prime and is an established top 25 player in the NBA.
